Fest'Napuan 2017

Here is your official guide to this year’s Fest’Napuan. One of the biggest editions in the Festival’s history and featuring a location change to Korman Stadium, this year’s Fest’Napuan brings you nightly enterntainment during the Pacific Mini Games, but “tekem spel” as nothing you love about Fest’Nap has changed: it’s still free to the public, well catered by local food and drink stalls and features your favorite artists!


A wide range of genres
including rock, reggae, hip-hop, reggaeton & R&B will be on display at Fest’Napuan this year with talented artists from Vanuatu, Fiji, New Caledonia, PNG, Solomon Islands and West Papua rocking the festival stage for four days!

Join us for songs of worship and praise during two days of religious-themed music from popular local church groups, such as Royal Identity and New Breedz Band ft Vanessa Quai as well as international acts from Fiji, the Solomon Islands, and Papua New Guinea.


A celebration of Vanuatu’s home grown music style: string band! Featuring ukulele, bush bass and traditional influences, be sure not to miss popular string bands such as ShefaMala, Jipajiroa, Fenuariki, Shakura and Western Boys entertain with a little island flavour.

Lapita Festival

Held from Dec. 5th to 14th, this festivl is an educational array of daytime and evening programs and activities to attend displaying modern and kastom dance, traditional food preparation, and featuing popular local musicians organized by the Vanuatu Kaljoral Senta.

The Black Sistaz

Daughters of the late Agust Rumwaropen of the legendary Black Brothers of West Papua. Choosing music as their vessel to spread truth: "PAPUA MERDEKA!"

Vanuatu's leading reggae group will close out Fest'Napuan to what is likely to be a packed out audience.

Vanuatu Favorites

Writers of one of the nation's unofficial national anthems "Vanuatu Blong Mi," Krosrod is a veteran of Vanuatu's music scene. 

Fijian Favorites

This rockin' four-piece band from Fiji features good vibes and great voices.

Sorong Samarai
West Papua

An innovative mix of styles, this group arrives from a tour of Australia to share their personal, political message of West Papua's need for freedom.

Vanessa Quai

One of Zion Fests headlining artists, Vanessa Quai has a voice known throughout the South Pacific's Christian music community.

Milly Dham & The Dub Chronicles
Vanuatu Reggae

Noted last year as a rising star in Vanuatu's Reggae scene, Milly Dham  now commands a large fan-base in
Vanuatu's capital.

Emily & Josh Williams

This sibling duo of Samoan heritage will be slowing things down a bit with some heart rending R&B jams.
